Liverpool Independents Week

Campaigning for Liverpool Independents’, collectively

The project

For the third year running, we’re so pleased to showcase the brand development and campaign visuals for #independentsweek. We revisited bright, bold colours and abstract illustrative shapes to recreate vibrant scenarios people can find themselves in within the world of Liverpool Independent Businesses. We’ve created a diverse selection of visuals to represent the local businesses, as well as those who use them, keeping business local and more ethical.

Immerse yourself in Bold Street and the shear wealth of independent restaurants, bars, coffee shops and retail stores it has to offer. It’s quite the journey.

As well as the promotional campaign which led up to the event, environmental design & way finding was created to communicate key information and direction for the festival throughout the weekend.


A range of posters, table talkers, leaflets and more were printed – all using the same visual langue combined with our well established branding for Independents’ Week.

2018 – You can see how each campaign we do enforces brand consistency – whilst staying fresh each year. The concept for 2018 was inspired by the diversity of business signage.

2017 – In its opening year we thought it was important to show an onlooker all aspects of the Independents’ Week, including food ingredients, music & the overall entrepreneurial spirit of the City.
