More than a destination, it’s a journey.

The project

For day trips there’s only one place to visit. Based in Liverpool, Daytripper organises trips to the most beautiful UK locations, giving travellers a chance to either be one with nature, or capitalise on the wealth of culture in the UK.

Their day trips aren’t just about the destination, but the journey. We wanted the new brand to emphasise Daytripper’s modern take on an established tradition, developing a brand identity that utilises traditional travel iconography combined with modern layout and stunning imagery.

There are wealth of marks created for the brand, ensuring that the great variety of trips are reflected day to day, keeping it versatile and current.


Core stationery was developed for the brand using a mixture of digital and hand rendered techniques. The tactile effect shows the difference
 in simply seeing, to feeling.

Online platform

It was important to both Kalo and the team at Daytripper, that as well as using their online space to advertise their trips, customers could easily book trips through a unique easy to use booking system.
